Let us teach you and entertain you! GUIDES CANINS’s training activities are organized and structured based on the groups attending and the target audience. The content and duration are adapted to the guests specifications. They are designed for people of all ages who want to discover or learn more about their best friends! Workshops These workshops are held several times a year. Check the registration forms for dates and prices and to reserve your spot. Grooming What should you do
between visits to the groomer? Grooming plays an important role in your
best friend’s wellbeing. Our grooming workshops are designed to teach
you about the techniques, tools and products you should use to achieve
the best results. First Aid When an emergency situation (one that endangers the dog’s life) arises, the dog’s owner becomes the first responder—the person who provides immediate assistance. The owner’s response plays a determining role in the success of the situation and in the dog’s chances of survival before veterinary assistance can be obtained. So you need to be prepared! We’ll discuss how to recognize the signs of pain and discomfort, how to identify problems and emergencies and how to prepare a first-aid kit. Kids and K9s Did you know that:
Consequently, this workshop is very important for future parents or families with children and dogs. Learn how to prevent problems by gaining an understanding of the dog and by supervising interactions between your kids and your four-legged family members. Agility "Fix it" The goals of these " FIX IT " workshops are to give your agility team a chance to work on certain specific skills that you would like to improve. Our regular agility classes often do not allow us to spend a lot of time on a certain subject or particular skills, as such this is the reason these workshops are offered between sessions. These will give you the opportunity, the time and the expertise of an instructor so that you can practice or improve certain skills. You may use these experiences to help your team improve for your classes, to give you the necessary tools to move to the next level of classes, to improve your performance in competition or simply to work on more challenging skills. These workshops are open to teams of all levels; they are planned with the participants' expectations and goals in mind. Obedience: Walk on leash & Jumping on people The goals of these obedience workshops are to give you and your dog a chance to work on certain specific skills that you would like to improve. Our regular obedience classes often do not allow us to spend a lot of time on a certain subject or particular skills, as such this is the reason these workshops are offered several times a year, between sessions. Massage Basic massage techniques like effleurage, petrissage, TTouch and stretching are covered in our massage workshops and easily applied to your dog. You will also learn to read their physical language in reaction to the massage. It's a great way to enhance the connection between you and your dog. Canine Sports Conditionning Whether your dog does Agility, Flyball, Tracking, is a Disc dog or is into Dock Diving, we know that in order to keep your pet/athlete around for many years, proper strength, exercise and conditioning is a necessary part of his everyday training. This workshop will focus on teaching different stretching and strengthening techniques, endurance, balance, coordination and proprioceptive exercises. Whether your dog is a beginner or at master's levels, we will teach new and fun training options to prevent and to reduce the risk of injuries. Conferences Understanding the canine language

team. We're active in a number of environments where dogs are considered
important. Our goal is to share the joy of training and to demonstrate
the importance of basic training in ensuring a harmonious dog/owner relationship
in the hope that our motivation and desire to spend time with our dogs
will be contagious! We are very flexible in terms of the organization,
structure and presentation of our demonstrations, which are geared to
the target audience, the environment and surface provided as well as the
type of event. We are available for occasional or regular demonstrations
of specific canine sports or friendly competitions.
