Let us teach you and entertain you! GUIDES CANINS’s training activities are organized and structured based on the groups attending and the target audience. The content and duration are adapted to the host organization’s specifications. They are designed for people of all ages who want to discover or learn more about their best friends! Workshops These workshops are held several times a year. Check the registration forms for dates and prices and to reserve your spot. Grooming What should you do between visits to the groomer? Grooming plays an important role in your best friend’s wellbeing. Our grooming workshops are designed to teach you about the techniques, tools and products you should use to achieve the best results. So bring your dog and your grooming equipment and we’ll show you techniques customized to your furry friend. When an emergency situation (one that endangers the dog’s life) arises, the dog’s owner becomes the first responder—the person who provides immediate assistance. The owner’s response plays a determining role in the success of the situation and in the dog’s chances of survival before veterinary assistance can be obtained. So you need to be prepared! We’ll discuss how to recognize the signs of pain and discomfort, how to identify problems and emergencies and how to prepare a first-aid kit. Did you know that:

CHIENS SHOW is GUIDES CANINS 's demonstration team. We're active in a number of environments where dogs are considered important. Our goal is to share the joy of training and to demonstrate the importance of basic training in ensuring a harmonious dog/owner relationship in the hope that our motivation and desire to spend time with our dogs will be contagious! We are very flexible in terms of the organization, structure and presentation of our demonstrations, which are geared to the target audience, the environment and surface provided as well as the type of event. We are available for occasional or regular demonstrations of specific canine sports or friendly competitions. Training We are currently preparing a training course for those wishing to become canine educators/caregivers. The course will last several hours and will cover various topics: canine health, canine behaviour, training, breeding, grooming, class management and organization, and canine sports. There will be lots of practical workshops and opportunities to get your paws dirty! Check back here for the dates the first classes will be held! |
