Introduction to the sport
5 weeks / 5 classes of 55 minutes
For dogs that have had obedience classes

Rally Obedience is a sport based on obedience with a bit of inspiration from agility and freestyle sports. Different from regular obedience, instead of waiting for the judge’s commands, teams move around a course of numbered and designated stations, always in a different order, with the dog in heel position within a given amount of time. Handlers are permitted to cheer and guide their dogs on the course. The circuit consists of about fifteen stations with a possibility of about fifty different movements. In rally, attitude trumps precision!

  • Introduction to the sport and the rules;
  • Work on the skills necessary for the practice of sport:
  • Change of positions;
  • Walking on foot;
  • Change of direction and pivot;
  • Spirals, serpentines and figure 8;
  • Obstacles and distraction;
  • Rest and recall;
  • Work the sequences.
Advanced

  • Practice Courses at all levels, including advanced and master courses
