Camay was my family’s very first dog. She came into my life when I was nine years old, and when she was six years old we enrolled in our first agility class at Guides Canins. Who says you can’t teach an old(er) dog new tricks? Camay has accompanied me on every step of this journey towards the discovery of my passion, a journey that saw me decide to pursue an education in animal health.

For a glimpse into Camay’s personality, just ask Julie or Nelly. They’ve awarded her hands down THE trophy for being the absolute best whiner among dogs! Although she entered her golden years some time ago, she still seems tireless! Her motto when working is “slowly but surely,” and while she sometimes suffers from a few “blonde” moments, each agility or obedience training session with her is pure pleasure. Camay loves to walk in the woods and if there happen to be a few squirrels in the area at the time, look out! The energy and determination of a pup fills her and she gets an intense look on her face… this is followed by barking, growling and attempts to climb that famous tree where the little critters love to hide!
