Chanelle shared Jacqueline’s life and occupied a large part of her heart. Extremely active and playful, she loved balls, walks and, more than anything, swims at the sandpit. Occasionally, Chanelle would get into the garbage, much to her mother’s despair! She enjoyed learning new tricks, especially when her efforts earned her a tasty reward. She liked being around kids, and would visit Jacqueline’s kindergarten class every year. A Frisbee aficionado, Chanelle boasted her own fan club made up of neighbourhood children eager to throw the disc. A violent cancer claimed Chanelle, but she was strong and alert to the end.
