Jacob was our introduction to the breed and he embodies the nearly perfect dog for us: medium in size, short-haired (meaning he requires little grooming), and loving to everyone. Jacob is tireless—his energy knows no bounds—versatile, affectionate and endearing, in short, he sparked my passion for all things canine and is the reason I launched GUIDES CANINS. Without him, this great adventure would never have happened!

Jacob, Jake, Jacoo, or Bi to those who are closest to him, loves dried liver, stuffed toys, stuffed Kongs, peanut butter, Kleenex (preferably used!), emptying the garbage, emptying purses, saying hi to humans, having friends over, riding in the car, sitting on humans, sitting on humans while riding in the car, chasing light reflections and windshield wipers (although his hunting abilities appear to end here!) and being grilled by the sun or in front of the fire. He really enjoys working but likes to keep his options open in case something better comes along. He helped us discover the wonderful world of dogs and, especially, dog training… let’s just say we didn’t really have a choice!
