Lady Morgane, I just fell in love with her right away. From the same litter as my first dog Heidi, she returned to the breeder looking for a new home just before she turned two. I fell head over heals for her, it was instantaneous even though I was incapable of approaching her or even pet her.

It was December 24th 2001 that my curly dog got out at my house on a leash for a trial period that lasted all of 30 minutes…her love and attachment for me was very fast and we developed a very strong complicity. Seeing as I was not crazy about the Lady part of her name I went out of my way to substitute it for Morgane. And the result is she carries both names, Lady Morgane.

Lady Morgane lives for agility and skijoring. She’s very happy with our private time that I give her each day. She loves the cookies that my students hide everywhere in the class for her before her arrival. Morgane adores children but you have to really know her because she’s very vocal and she expresses her joy by growling and it can be a bit confusing!

She particularly loves the sport of herding my students. My students let her do it and they find it very funny. And she never misses the chance of giving them a little lick on the way between the rows of desks. It is simply irresistible for her!

Morgane particularly loves sunning herself on the window sill…yes, I know, a 50 lbs burger on a window sill!

Lady Morgane was very playful even after surgery; she has the heart of a puppy. She has become my $5,000 dog. My curly haired Australian Shepperd hold a very special place in my heart.
