My name, Oopik, is actually the same as my big sister Kétho’s name; it also means “snowy owl,” only in Inuit. A caramel-coloured Golden, I’ve done my obedience classes. I pick things up quickly, especially when the reward is a treat. I’m an active dog and I’ve started taking agility classes. In the winter I plan to do some skijoring for cardio training… I need to stay in shape!!! Of course, like any self-respecting Golden Retriever I am a little sociable. Okay, I’m a lot sociable! I love going for walks, or should I say running like mad with my buddies Nelson, Ryder and Théo through the trails here at the Centre. Marc, Kétho and I form quite a trio during our daily walks. Long live the “Golden Team”!!!
