To learn, understand and obtain tools to manage issues related to behavioral problems such as reactivity, aggressivity, resources guarding, anxiety, fears and phobias, obsessive compulsive disorders.

It is important to recognize that some behavioral problems  cannot be managed by training and conditioning alone and instead require an evaluation by a veterinarian. Initially, the veterinary examination is important to be certain that the problem is not the result of an illness or is not caused by pain. Then, after evaluation, the veterinarian specialist can make a diagnosis and establish a treatment plan including behavioral modification therapy and drug therapy. It is essential to understand that if the dog is sick (physically and / or mentally), he needs veterinary care and monitoring and the training will not work and you will feel like you are going in circles…

We can help you determine if the problematic behavior and behavioral sequence is abnormal and if you should see a veterinarian or veterinary specialist. We will help you understand the behavior, assess it and document it (circumstances, frequency, intensity, duration), and we will assist you in observation, management and prevention.

NOTE: Cases of aggression towards dogs or humans that have caused one or more bites requiring medical attention cannot be taken care of and will be referred to a veterinarian for a dangerousness assessment.

To learn, understand and obtain tools to manage issues related to training problems such as: Not listening, running away, not coming when called, pulling on a leash, jumping on people, counter surfing, stealing objects, barking excessively, biting and mouthing people or chewing things, chasing cats, squirrels, bicycles, cars, having difficulty concentrating, lack of self-control, not wanting to be manipulated, etc.
