Agility is a fun and exciting team sport in which the handler works his dog over a timed obstacle course. Agility training is designed to build confidence and team spirit between man and his best friend.

Prerequisite: The puppy is between 3 and 7 months old. Note that due to schedule changes, older or younger dogs may sometimes be accepted in this group.

  • Introduction to the skills required for age-appropriate sport practice and the development of young puppies.
    Recall and engagement exercises / Proprioception and targeting games
    Introduction to tunnels and low obstacles.

Everything your team needs to start on the right paw!
This level is a prerequisite to start your Team’s future agility career!

  • Introduction of all obstacles (excluding weave) low contact
  • Working on various different skills to begin the teamwork
  • Beginning of simple sequences

5 weeks / 5 classes of 55 minutes

  • Introduction of contact obstacles at full height
  • Work of obstacles on the right, on the left, recall, forward, with distance and distractions
  • Work on speed, approach, speed, independence and crosses on all obstacles
  • Sequences of 2-4 obstacles

5 weeks / 5 classes of 55 minutes

  • Contact-tunnel discrimination, approach, turn on or in
  • Introduction of the different jump configurations (1 per week), line, pinwheel, box, star, serpentine, threadle
  • Sequences of 4-8 obstacles

  • Improvement of contact work, approaches, exits, discrimination
  • Perfecting handling: turns and crosses, introduction of advanced handling techniques (Kturns,reverse spins, back side, layering, etc)

  • Prerequisite: Be ready for competition.
    The dog must be over 18 months old and must be able to perform the weaves

    • Work and improvement of handling, contact, weaves, jumps and distance
    • Work of complex sequences inspired by European and international handling

5 weeks / 5 classes of 85 minutes

Prerequisite: Ready for competition.
The dog must be over 18 months old and must be able to perform the weave poles.

  • Held in a competition-sized facility (two rooms).
  • 85 minutes, 6 participants.
  • Work and improvement on handling, contacts, weave poles, jumps, and distance.
  • Training of complex sequences inspired by European and international handling styles.

5 weeks / 5 classes of 45 minutes
Starters, Advanced, Masters

  • Can be taken at any time in the progression, after the Foundation/Intro course and/or at the same time as another level. Prerequisite: the dog must be older than 12 months
    • Introduction of the obstacle using all methods: 2X2, chanel, weave-o-matic, wires
    • Selection of the appropriate method for each team
    • Conditioning the sequence to arrive at 12 poles without leuring
