A therapy dog lends comfort and affection to people in a facility setting or to certain individuals who require visitation to deal with physical or emotional problems as defined by the AKC. This workshop will help you learn the basic tools required for therapy dogs including but not limited to; headrests, applying pressure, turning on and off the lights, picking up items and so much more.
